Roll-Off Dumpster Rental FAQs

CWR has 3 sizes of roll-off dumpsters: 18 yard, 20 yard, and 30 yard roll-off dumpsters. The right size depends on your project. For example, a 30-yard dumpster can hold about 14 truckloads of waste.

You can rent dumpsters for a flexible period, ranging from a single day to several weeks. The rental price includes 12 days. Each additional day after the first 12 days costs $10/day.

At CWR, we prioritize environmental safety, especially when dealing with hazardous materials. For this reason, we exercise the utmost care in handling and disposing of items like batteries, asbestos, harmful chemicals, and flammable liquids, all of which are environmental hazards and strictly prohibited in our dumpsters. If such items are placed in a rented dumpster, you will be required to remove them.

Regulations regarding hazardous materials vary by location (country, state, county, and city). It’s important to understand what your local recycling centers and landfills accept, so please familiarize yourself with these rules or consult with a CWR team member. Certain materials may also incur additional fees. To avoid penalties for prohibited hazardous content, please be transparent about the waste you intend to dispose of in the dumpster.

Yes – the 18 and 20 yard roll-off dumpsters are limited to 3 tons of waste. The 30 yard roll-off dumpster includes 4 tons of waste. Be mindful of the dumpster’s weight limit to avoid extra charges. Avoid overfilling the dumpster. The overage fee is $50 per ton.

Factors like excess weight, fluctuating tonnage, and extended rental periods can affect the final cost. The fees for additional days and additional tonnage are outlined in this FAQ.
